Rider Rating Chart

GENERAL. The RHR rating system evaluates the capability of riders with respect to the Rider “Start” and “On Course” capabilities required for competition in gymkhana match racing. Riders may use the “Start” and “On Course” Rating Levels to great advantage in evaluating their progress and in determining the relative effectiveness of various training methods being used for given rider/mount combinations. The objective for each rider/mount combination is to improve their “Start” and “On Course” capabilities so that their overall “Match Race” capability will be improved.
START RATING CHART.
Rider Start times obtained during Round#1 competition
are evaluated to determine each riders Rating Level.
A Start Rating Level time is earned by a rider when his/her Start time for a
given event
falls within the range of times specified in one of the 5 Rating Levels given in
the chart below.

CHAMPIONSHIP RATING CHART
The Match Race Rating Chart is based on
the sum of the Start and On Course times given in their respective Rating
Charts.
The following chart indicates the rider times required to achieve rating levels
for each of RHR’s 12 events.
Rider Match Race times obtained during Round#1 competition are evaluated to
determine the Rating Levels of the times run.
A Match Race Rating Level time is earned by a rider when his /her time for a
