How you earn $$ awards:
$1.00 will be set aside for each entry in the Level 1 (Open) Class for monetary awards.  When a rider wins a heat they are eligible for the normal day award and they are automatically entered in the run off for the money that has been set aside.  That money will be divided between each heat winner in the run off.  Thus if a rider wins three heats in the run off they will earn three times the amount awarded to someone winning one heat in the run off.   If a rider wins two heats in the run off they will win double the amount won by someone winning one heat.

For example if the entry fee is $5.00 and there are 30 entries in the class, the run off payout would be $30.  Each of those heat winners in the Level 1 Class will be entered in the run off for the cash pay out.   In this case there would be 8 riders running in two heats and those heat winners would then run against each other in the final heat.  Thus one rider would win two heats and one rider would win one heat.  The $30 would then be divided by three and you would be paid $10 for each heat won.

3-D  JACKPOT CLASS

Jackpot details:
Cost: $10
Awards:

The payout to the riders depends on the number of riders entered in that event.  The entry fees for the event are added together and multiplied by 70%.  This figure becomes the event payout.  The fastest time run becomes the winner and receives 50% of the pot.  The 2-D rider gets 2nd place money of 30% and the 3-D rider gets third place money of 20%.

For example if there are 30 entries, the event payout would be $210.   ($10 times 30 = $300 times 70% = $210)

Times Win Receive $$
Fastest 1st Place $105.00
the 2-D rider 2nd Place $63.00
the 3-D rider 3rd Place $42.00

The 1st Place winner
will be the fastest rider
of the day in the selected event!

The 2-D & 3-D Winners
will be the rider coming closest to the fastest time in the event plus the 2-D or 3-D factor.

To determine the 2-D and 3-D winner, we add the indicated number of seconds
to the fastest time and draw a line on the computer printout at that point.
The next rider down on the list (if entered in the jackpot) will be the winner.

Event 2-D 3-D   Event 2-D 3-D
Single Pole 2 4   Single Pole Plus 3 6
Poles I 3 6   Bow Tie 3 6
Short Poles 3 6   Short Poles II 3 6
Speed Barrels 2 4   Speed Barrels 2 2 4
Figure 8 2 4   Figure 8 II 3 6
Poles Keyhole 2 4   Bucket Ball 2 4

The RANDOM Factor
The Jackpot event will not be selected until the show is over!
At that time we will ask a rider to draw one of the days events out of the hat.
We will then ask the computer to give us a printout of everyone entered in the jackpot,
give us those riders  times in the selected event
and using the above formula
determine 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.

No will know until the end what the Jackpot Event was
Every hot rider will have a shot at winning 1st place money
and
Every other rider will have a shot at winning 2nd & 3rd place money

(If you enter the Jackpot but do not ride the selected event - your out of luck.)
