RHR Gymkhana Education Program

    The RHR Gymkhana Education program is designed to encourage young people to have fun while learning to ride and to take care of their mounts.  This is a complete comprehensive program that starts from the ground up.  It is designed to take complete novices and educate them on the basics of equines as it pertains to their care, handling and horsemanship, it also allows for the continuing education of those that wish to do so.  Our goal is to educate youths on various topics as they pertain to horses and mules, and to develop not only their riding skills but their problem solving skills as well.  We encourage our riders to set goals, and offer them prestigious rewards for achieving those goals.  We provide them with a way to evaluate their progress and a way to compare their progress with the progress of others  Along the way we present a series of seminars and clinics that will cover several topics that include:

·     Basic equine information

·     Safety

·     Health

·     Feed Management

·     Basic/ Intermediate/ Advanced horsemanship

Our clinics are free to children 18 and under and are open to all.
